The Random Dilettante

It’s a little after 11pm and I’m up drinking coffee….don’t know why. I’m feeling social, which is very unlike me. Damn coffee. Seriously though, I should drink it more often, because when I do, I start acting “normal.” Without some caffeine I just shut myself in and never feel like talking to anyone. I wish I knew why, but I don’t. It seems more than half of my life is spent trying to avoid people, and for no particular reason. I just tend to shut out people a lot, and then only let them back in when it’s good timing for me, which I know is wrong and inconsiderate, but I seriously can’t help it. One night I will be this talkative social-lite, and the next day I will wake up and live the live of a hermit, and that feeling can last for weeks and weeks…until the “social Glenda” peeks out for a day or two , only to have to explain to everyone else where I have been, or to make excuses for myself. I have issues huh? I know I have a introverted personality, but does that explain it all, or is there more to it? I wonder sometimes…

Anyway…back in my hole…it’s cozy there.

Well, I guess life got in the way. Or maybe I was just to lazy to sit down and write a post? Better yet, Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood. Most likely it’s all of the above

Hey, I warned you in my profile. So anyway, I’ve started taking this class on HTML and XHTML, and I’m really stoked about it. Writing HTML is like playing a video game to me, as geeky as that sounds. My goal is to design my own web site from top to bottom from scratch. I get excited just thinking about it.

Chief got fixed this Tuesday, and he’s really improved on the humping, it’s almost non-exsistent.

I’ve also been hooked on playing Super Mario 3 on Gameboy Advance…it brings me back. I suck at it though, I have to play each level like 5 or more times to get through, haha.

Anyway, I need to go blow-dry my hair and get dolled up I will post more this evening……..I think.

In the end, we are alone. For the time being we have to deal with all kinds of people sticking thier noses in our buisness. I don’t know about you, but I would rather be alone and lonely then crowded and overstimulated! Someplace warmer though..it looks chilly in this photo

Of my blog. Don’t be fooled though, this isn’t my first blog. I haven’t figured out the most important part of a personal blog, and that is the kind of content I want it to have. So I’ve created a few blogs just to dump them aside in a few weeks. I’m really hoping to keep this one. I like the layout more than my others, and I love the background and colors. It reminds me of a sunset, warm weather and the beach. It’s much more uplifting than just plain black like I’ve had in the past. Truth be told, I doubt it lasts more than a few days before I change it again though. I tell ya….I have issues!!

Sunday I got another dog. He’s a 1 1/2 yr old dachshund male. He’s pretty cool, housetrained and everything. I have a 4 yr old schnauzer, Gatsby, and so far they are good playmates. With ONE EXCEPTION. Chief, the dachshund’s name, won’t stop trying to hump Gatsby! He’s definitely got the fever for the flavor, haha. 2 male dogs humping, who would have guessed.

So Chief is getting fixed next Tuesday, poor feller. But not really, I have no sympathy for the little guy. I’m tired of chasing them around the house with a water bottle all day. It’s very annoying to say the least! It hard to concentrate on anything and still have one eye on the look out for sexual deviants…now I know what parents of teenagers feel like. Ha ha, I thought that was pretty funny…but I feel like ALF in that I’m the only one that’s laughing. Ah well, it’s not like you paid anything to read this, and I’m not keeping you here, so I don’t feel to bad about it.

Anyway, I’m off to go soak a horny mutt down. Jealous aren’t you?
